Sculptor, miniature boat builder and furniture maker, Elise Cameron-Smith, creates out of her micro workshop in an off-grid shipping container, hidden in a beautiful bush area of the northern Illawarra. Cameron-Smith has been crafting whimsical wooden treasures since 2013, creating dreamy ocean inspired pieces made to spark the adventurer in all of us. She creates very limited editions of functional homewares and furniture inspired by her adventures up and down the coast of New South Wales.
Cameron-Smith studied design at the Enmore Design Centre, and Fine Furniture Making at The Sturt School For Wood. She has been mentored by living woodworking legends Leon Sadubin and John Van Der Kolk and has been featured on Better Homes and Gardens T.V Show, and her work has been published in many books & magazines in Australia.
Cameron-Smith is represented by Saint Cloche Gallery.
