content: Sydney-based creative director and stylist, Christelle Scifo, is in the business of finer details. Working primarily with flowers as her key medium (under the moniker, Fleurette), her craft traverses a range of disciplines, across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, set design, still life, photography, art and interiors. “I would say my main objective and uniqueness lies in the fact I aim to create and set the tone and ambiance of a space in all its detail, with nature and with feeling.”
As thoughtful in her personal style as she is in her professional one, she seeks sartorial inspiration from her streets of her second home, Paris. “Being half-French, half-Australian, I lived in Paris for many years and would travel back there regularly several times a year,” she says. “I love people watching and in Paris. There’s no better place for inspiration than this – something I miss incredibly, currently.”
With a penchant for clothes that are “classic, sexy and cool”, her current wardrobe staples include vintage Levi’s jeans and blazers, suits and tailoring, men’s shirts and investment coats, vintage tee shirts, white lace and silk slip dresses.” Her vice? “Accessories.” Namely, antique jewellery, sunglasses, eclectic designer shoes and her vintage bag collection (Chanel is a favourite).
“I need to be ready for anything. Jeans, t-shirt and a blazer, a change of shoes or an elegant, simple-yet-sexy slip dress and Chanel red lip in the car for later is my go-to look, because I can do my labour intensive, long days on the job and still look somewhat presentable in the process.” video: video_mobile: sideImage: //store-s1mbbc7h64.mybigcommerce.com/product_images/import/Christelle-Side-Image.jpg favorites: title: Christelle's Favourites
