Meet your new favourite jeans. Specifically, Esse Studios’s interpretation of the classic 90s high-rise, straight leg rigid jean. Not too skinny, not too relaxed, and cut from a blended organic, recycled cotton. Best worn on repeat.
A little about The ESSE Jean: The denim is sourced in Turkey. Esse partner with a premium denim mill that focuses on recovering, reusing and recycling resources as much as possible. Established in 1904 the mill is a pioneer for denim innovation. They’re dedicated to sustainable denim development and manufacturing.
The Esse Jean uses 86.98% Organic Cotton and 13.02% Recycled Cotton. The “recycled” part is up-cycled raw cotton that would usually be discarded. When raw cotton is processed into yarn, typically 10% is lost in the spinning process. They’ve collected this waste and added it back into the process. Closing the loop and saving the energy, water and resources needed to grow and transport virgin cotton. The focus for them is keeping everything as circular as possible.
