In 1968, New York’s Museum of Modern Art sought to promote its “Word and Image” exhibition, a celebration of 20th-century poster art. They turned to Japan’s Tadanori Yokoo, whose work had captivated audiences with its bold, saturated colours and ukiyo-e woodblock influences. The result was a poster as iconic and eye-catching as the exhibition itself.

COMPOSITION & CARE

100% superfine merino wool
Turn inside out and hand wash in cool water using wool-specific detergent.
Allow to soak for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
Roll in a towel to remove excess water.
Lay flat to dry in shade, easing back into shape.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Dry cleanable.
