WAH-WAH x Kunmanara (Tiger) Yaltangki

This jumper was created in direct collaboration with Kunmanara (Tiger) Yaltangki in 2022. Following Yaltangki’s passing in September 2024, WAH-WAH has received the permission of Iwantja Arts and the artist’s estate to continue producing and celebrating his work and legacy.

Kunmanara (Tiger) Yaltangki was a larger-than-life figure in the Indulkana desert. As a largely non-verbal artist, painting became his powerful form of self-expression. His bold, vibrant brushstrokes capture the spirit of Mamu (spirit beings) while channelling his love of rock ‘n’ roll—particularly his favourite band, AC/DC. This collaboration pays homage to Yaltangki’s artistic genius and his unshakeable connection to music.

This sweater has been approved by Kunmanara (Tiger) Yaltangki’s estate and Iwantja Arts.

DETAILS & FIT

Unisex fit.
We recommend measuring from underarm to underarm of a jumper (sweater) that you like the fit of and choosing the nearest corresponding size.
Model wears a size XL.
The knitted superfine merino wool is stretchy and forgiving, offering some flexibility with sizing.

COMPOSITION & CARE

100% superfine merino wool
Turn inside out and hand wash in cool water using wool-specific detergent.
Allow to soak for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
Roll in a towel to remove excess water.
Lay flat to dry in shade, easing back into shape.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Dry cleanable.

Flat rate of $60 AUD for international orders. Delivery time is estimated between 6-27 days. Duties and taxes are not collected at checkout. Any duties and taxes are payable by the customer upon arrival of goods.
